One Winner's Edge card for Alberta casinos
Winner's Edge is the player rewards program that AGLC runs with casinos across Alberta. Joining is free, and one card works at casinos throughout the province.

What the card is
AGLC is Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis, the provincial gaming regulator. Winner's Edge is its player rewards program at Alberta casinos and racing entertainment centres. Casinos that offer it do so as partners, under an agreement with AGLC.
It is AGLC's program, not any one casino's. Your member data belongs to AGLC.
The program follows the casinos' age rule: you must be 18 or older to enter a gaming facility in Alberta.
How to join and pick up the card
Joining Winner's Edge is free. There are three ways to sign up:
- online
- at a Winner's Edge kiosk
- at Guest Services
You then pick up the card at Guest Services at any Alberta casino. Bring government ID, because staff need to see it before they hand the card over. Our first visit guide covers what ID works at the door.
How it works on the floor

You insert the card in a slot machine or an electronic table game, and that play earns points. Some games are specially marked, and those don't earn points or take redemptions.
The card works at partner casinos throughout Alberta, so you don't need a new card in another city. The program sets its own terms, and they can change. The current ones are on winnersedge.ca.
Where Edmonton adds its own programs
Casinos may run reward programs of their own next to Winner's Edge. They can't use Winner's Edge member data in them, so the two stay separate even when you carry both cards.
Here is how that looks at three Edmonton-area casinos.
- River Cree on Enoch Cree Nation runs its own free Players Club. It also takes part in Winner's Edge. The Casino Players Club answers at 780-930-2562.
- PURE Edmonton and PURE Yellowhead run PURE Rewards side by side with Winner's Edge. Both programs are described on the player programs pages for PURE Edmonton and PURE Yellowhead.
Points and your limit
Points come from play, so they should follow your budget, not set it. Decide what you can afford for the evening before you insert the card. Chasing more points is still spending money.
If a card makes it harder to stop, leave it at home. The limit tool helps you set an amount and a time before you go out.
What the card is not
Winner's Edge rewards play inside the casino. Casinos may not offer it together with sportsbook betting or with offers from an online gaming operator.
People enrolled in Self-Exclusion are not eligible for the card, and they are taken off casino reward mailings. Enrolment is online only, at selfexclusion.ca. If you are thinking about a break, our responsible gambling page explains how self-exclusion works.
