Downtown, ICE District
Grand Villa beside the Oilers' arena
Grand Villa sits beside the 104 Avenue lobby of Rogers Place, in downtown Edmonton's ICE District. You can reach it by LRT and the pedway, or drive to one of two paid underground garages in the district.

Getting there by LRT or car
The nearest LRT stop is MacEwan station, a Metro Line stop on the north side of Rogers Place. From the station, the casino is reached through Ford Hall and the LRT corridor. Ford Hall spans 104 Avenue and links the downtown pedway to the arena, the casino and the station. It is open to the public outside event hours.
Two paid underground garages in the district use pay-by-plate. These were their rates in October 2026:
- ICE District Central Parkade, 10220 103 Avenue: $12 for the evening, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Daytime is $5 to $6.90 an hour. The height limit is 2.08 m (6 ft 10 in).
- Rogers Place Lot B, 10204 104 Avenue: a $15 evening flat rate, 5 p.m. to 6 a.m., or $6 an hour on weekday daytimes.
The Central Parkade charges separate event rates when Rogers Place hosts an event. For each event, over 4,000 parking spots can be booked ahead through Precise ParkLink. Before you drive in on a game or concert night, check the city's special-event road closures. The arena's taxi pick-up and drop-off point is at the southwest corner of 104 Street and 104 Avenue.
A casino built with the arena

Grand Villa opened on September 7, 2016, one day before Rogers Place. It was built with the Katz Group and Oilers Entertainment Group, and it opened with four storeys and private gaming salons.
Two sit-down restaurants are on its pedway level. One is a steakhouse. The other is Match Eatery & Public House, a British-style pub with live music, DJs and sports on TV.
The live tables open at 2 p.m., three hours after the slots. See table hours if a table game is the plan.
Grand Villa replaced the Baccarat Casino, which its operator, Gateway Casinos, bought in 2002. The old building came down in 2020, and the ICE District Fan Park and a small dog park took its place.
Food and things to do nearby
Ford Hall leads to ICE District Plaza, which has a public skating rink every winter. The Fan Park hosts festivals, sports and other events.
For a meal before or after, two buildings in the district have several choices:
- JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District: Braven for steaks, chops and seafood, the casual Kindred Food + Drink, the Lobby Bar, and Alchemy Bar on the fifth floor. Alchemy's patio overlooks the plaza and the arena.
- Edmonton Tower lobby: a two-level Boston Pizza in sports-bar style, and Guru Kitchen + Bar for Indian food.
If you plan to eat late, call ahead to check closing times.
By day, the Royal Alberta Museum is about half a kilometre east, as the crow flies. Sir Winston Churchill Square, with City Hall and the Art Gallery of Alberta, is about as far to the south-east.
