Privacy and what this site collects

This site collects very little. There are no ad trackers, no accounts and no forms, and the tools work inside your browser.

In short

  • No advertising trackers and no ad networks.
  • No accounts, logins or newsletters.
  • No forms and no email address, so we never receive your name or a message.
  • One visit counter that runs on our own server.
  • Tools that work inside your browser.

The visit counter

We count visits with our own counter, hosted on a server we control. It is not an advertising tool, and its numbers are not sold or shared with ad networks.

It records the page you open, the time, the site that sent you here, and your browser and device type. It sets no cookies and does not keep your IP address.

Those totals show which pages people read, which helps us decide what to fix or update next.

The planner and other tools

The planner never asks where you are. You pick a starting area from a list, and your browser works out the distances. It reads the clock on your device and converts it to Edmonton time.

On the Responsible gambling page, the limit tool lets you note what the evening can cost and when you'll head home. That note stays in your browser on this device and is never sent to us.

The age and ID check on First visit runs in your browser as well.

Changes to this page

Should the site start collecting anything new, this page will say so first.

Questions

Is my evening limit saved anywhere else?

It stays in the browser where you set it. It isn't sent to us, and it doesn't follow you to other devices.

Does the planner use my location?

The planner never reads your location. You choose an area from a list, and the distances are worked out from that.
